WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

Not only does this Summit provide you with a fantastic opportunity to hear from world leading presenters all in the one place, the Summit itself is a world first for global collaboration in Parkinson’s.

Here are five reasons you cannot afford to miss out on the 2018 INSIGHT SUMMIT

  1. One place, three days, 30 expert speakers at your finger tips
  2. No associated travel or accommodation costs. This summit is direct to your living room!
  3. Eight topics streams that we know you want answers on
  4. Insight and hope to inspire a better life.
  5. Your opportunity to be part of something bigger

HOW DOES AN ONLINE SUMMIT WORK?

Online summits are delivered like a normal conference, except that they are delivered completely online and virtually. You can view the content directly from your living room, or from your phone when you are out-and-about. Once you have registered for the Summit you will receive a unique login to access the content over each day of the Summit and up to 30 days following, depending on your registration level.

Like a normal conference, there is a daily program schedule of speaker presentations, break sessions and an opportunity to visit the exhibition hall. We have separated the content into eight separate streams with speakers presenting for between 20 and 60 minutes each within those streams. There will be live Q&A sessions leading up to the Summit (hosted on Facebook Live), in addition to the two live Q&A sessions scheduled in the program already.

We are very excited to announce that this year we have 30 exhibitors who you can engage with in the exhibition hall – connect with technology companies producing apps and tools for people with Parkinson’s, medical and pharmaceutical agencies and organisations who are all working towards a common goal and a bigger picture! Don’t miss out, get your tickets now!

Gain invaluable insight from 30 World Class speakers!

WHO IS ORGANISING THE SUMMIT?

The 2018 INSIGHT SUMMIT has been brought to you by PD Warrior. PD Warrior is a small organisation that continues to punch well above it’s weight. Developed as a rehabilitation program in Australia, it has expanded rapidly and is now run Internationally in four countries and counting. Our aim is to specifically help people slow the symptom development of their Parkinson’s down.

What sets PD Warrior apart and delivers such great success as a program are the four underpinning pillars:

  1. Neuro-active exercise
  2. Life-long behaviour change and adherence to exercise
  3. Education and empowerment
  4. Support and Community

PD Warrior helps people to achieve a greater state of physical, mental and social wellbeing by using neuroplastic training principles in exercise, as well as easy strategies and hints to build confidence, keep motivated and make significant changes for life.

PD Warrior is proud to be bringing together such an esteemed group of speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners, all of whom have given their time freely to raise awareness and to help people live their best life with Parkinson’s – because of and in spite of their Parkinson’s.

YOUR INSIGHT FROM PARKINSON'S LIFE

INSIGHT and PD Warrior partner, Parkinson’s Life, is an online ‘lifestyle’ magazine for people affected by Parkinson’s disease. They are a voice for the international Parkinson’s community, which means anyone with an interest in the disease including people with Parkinson’s and their families, carers and healthcare professionals.

By publishing high-quality content focused on this global community, Parkinson’s Life aims to be a leading platform for the sharing of personal stories, expert opinions, resources, tools and information about good Parkinson’s practices from around the world.

They hope to increase awareness, inspire advocacy and challenge existing mindsets, ultimately achieving our goal of enabling all people with Parkinson’s to live a full life.

Parkinson’s Life is a European Parkinson’s Disease Association website.
